Over the past three years, the United Association of the Plumbers, Pipefitters and Sprinklerfitters Union has undertaken many innovative programs, and with the new century, we are breaking ground in yet another arena-the mutual fund market.

In March of 2000, the United Association began its own index mutual fund, the United Association S&P 500 Index Fund. This mutual fund is designed to serve the long-term investment needs of United Association local unions, individual members, their families, friends and neighbors. What sets it apart from many other funds is its accessibility to both locals and their members, as well as the general public. Moreover, as a UA program, it was designed first and foremost with the UA members in mind.
